I have become interested in the cute little Angelina things and have bought a few on ebay and AG. My question is---Which of the cottages is the best? I found one in 2001 catalog that is like a small verison of the historicals scenes and settings for $28 and a different kind in the 2003 catalog, same dimensions but with magnetic pieces that change the room for $30. If I am going to have to pay inflated retired prices for the cottage on ebay, I would love to know which one is the nicest or has the best play value. Has anyone seen them in person? Thanks in advance, so much.

Karla, I would say the cottage is better, the magnetic room is quite heavy, but it's smaller. The cottage is like the scenes and settings and have a "door" and you can put the kitchen, parlor and room sets at the same time for play (you open it like on the pics from AG catalogs), with the magnetic room you have to choose which room you want and change the floor and the magnetic things on the walls.
I love Angelina and her stuff, am waiting for the bedroom to arrive, bought it more than two months ago and am beggining to worry about it...

Thanks, Ana Claudia, so much for your quick response. That's EXACTLY the information I needed!! I just love the Angelina stuff too--now to continue my ebay hunt for the items I can't live without which include that cute cottage.

PS I have Molly's and Sam's Scenes and Settings and adore them.

Chalk me up for another AB AG fan and stuck on ebay finding things since you can't get them anymore. I am amazed what some go for. Another out there looking for good prices. I hope we aren't bidding against each other!
